While most times of year, an all wheel drive car can make it to most of our locations, a high clearance 4×4 will ensure that you arrive safely and without issue.

Some properties, due to their level of difficulty to access, require higher cleaning fees in order to ensure the property is clean and ready for your arrival.
Please refrain from using ANY devices that produce heat or cool. Examples include, but are not limited to: Space heaters, hair dryers, curling irons, heavy duty battery chargers, etc.
Some properties, due to their location are not always able to be serviced in the same day. Because of their remote nature, there is a high likelihood that bears or other predators will enter the home in search of food.
We always recommend having bear spray, at a minimum, in any areas where predators are prevalent.

we recommend staying very well hydrated both before your arrival and during your stay. This will decrease the chances of having symptoms of altitude sickness. Also, there are oxygen canisters and all natural altitude medication (link) the will help with it as well. Refraining from consuming alcohol prior to and during your visit will also help.
All of our properties are pet friendly and we do not charge pet fees! (who charges extra fees for family?!) That being said, in order to maintain our policy of not charging for pets, we do ask that a few very simple cleanup steps are done prior to your checkout.

Most of our properties will have parking, but the better question would be whether or not it makes sense to bring your rig to the location. The best thing would be to let us know what you’re planning to bring and to which property, and we can give you a great idea of what we can offer.
If it isn’t listed on our website, we don’t have a property there. But, we DO have a wishlist where you can request that we look at a location and type of home. If we get enough requests and the area works for our niche and we’re able to find the right property, yes!

GPS doesn’t always account for rough roads – they generally take you in the way that’s shortest or fastest. That’s not always the best option for a lot of our properties! We send turn-by-turn directions and ask that you follow them rather than a GPS. This is the best way to ensure that you don’t damage your vehicle!
